Emma:
Always known affectionately by my family and friends as a dreamer, lover of arts, craft and the obscure, I have gratefully followed in my Grandmothers (Nanny Jean's) footsteps to become a sought after wedding cake designer turning a once cherished hobby into a full time career. I am proud to have won awards and to have my creations published online and in print publications. I love nothing more than finding ways to merge my passion for art into designing unique, one of a kind design led creations to wow your guests, using twists on tradition, delighting tastebuds and creating luxurious, indulgent memories.
I'm known for my delicate handmade sugar and wafer paper flowers which are lovingly created petal-by-petal and dusted for a realistic finish. I have received training from some of the countries most respected sugarcraft professionals, built a strong portfolio and worked into venues such as The Ritz London, Claridges, Cliveden, Quatre Saisons - Raymond blanc, The Renaisance hotel London, The Elvetham and Pennyhill Park to name but a few. When time allows I also love to teach sugarcraft topics to small intimate classes of self developing cake designers.
With a strong reputation within the luxury cake industry for my design flair and attention to detail, I often work with well known and exclusive wedding planners, celebrities, blogs and magazines on bespoke photoshoots which are so much fun and let me loose creatively too!
With my artistic background, I hope to offer inspiration and unusual twists on tradition. For me, each cake is regarded as a delicious work of art. Every creation is infused with an artistic vision which reflects your personality and individual style in a unique personalised wedding cake. I can't wait to hear your ideas!
Alex:
I joined Gifted Heart Cakes in May 2019 as administration co-ordinator, helping Emma manage the enquiries and produce quotations based on the beautiful designs created for our clients. I have a strong background in administration and worked for a large HR and Pensions company for many years before stepping away to look after my two wonderful children.
Together Emma and I work hard to provide a professional flexible service to all of our lovely clients. I am told I am key to the GHC team, keeping the cogs turning and Emma Sane! - As Emma says.... Everybody needs an Alex!!

Stuart:
I am the social media guru and all round whip cracker! I keep our social media pages up to date and release any upcoming info on the website and media channels. I always attend the wedding showcases alongside Emma to talk to couples about their big day and to speak to them about their options.
If you are looking for something a little different I am the one to speak to and have designed and prototyped all of our hanging cakes and installations, including a 10ft suspended cake swing that we hung from the rafters of beautiful Bury Court Barn and also designed our beautiful clear acrylic doughnut wall - you can never have too many doughnuts!
