Once you have booked your wedding and have chosen your venue. The next step is to secure your trusted suppliers to assist you in creating your perfect day. Please contact us to check our availability. We will then begin working with you to create your dream cake.
From traditional tiered styles to more modern twists, each and every one of our bespoke cakes is one of a kind and a truly delicious way to mark your fabulous event!. Choosing and designing your cake with us is a fun process and you can rest assured that every one of our cakes is created with love, from concept to creation. GHC wedding cakes are priced individually depending upon the size and decoration required for your design.
One of the first steps with GHC is our Design and tasting session. It is the perfect opportunity for us to discuss your wedding plans, talk about elements and details of your wedding and how we can interpret this to create your dream wedding cake.. Our design sessions last around 1 hour. During your consultation you will meet personally with me. You are encouraged to bring pictures, sketches, invitations and stationery, fabric samples and colour swatches, anything that will help with inspiration for your design. Your design session will also allow you to peruse our portfolio to see the design examples and the quality of our previous work. We will be working with you to design a cake that will compliment your day perfectly.
Following our Design and tasting appointment we will provide you with a personalised computer generated image and proposal which details your cake design, cake flavours and other details such as any venue dressing, stand hire and on-the-day delivery, set-up and sign-off. With our designs you receive highly detailed jpeg file which gives a superb visual image of how your cake will look.
Upon accepting the quotation, we will stay in touch during the time before your wedding and will be available for any questions, queries or updates that you may have.
In the weeks before your wedding we will liase with you re final numbers, and double check all cake details with you. we will also make delivery arrangements and contact your venue when neccesary to finalise timings. In the days before your wedding, work in the Studio begins, creating your beautiful cake accessories and sugar flowers and then, a few days before, baking your delicious cakes for us to turn your vision into your amazing wedding cake.

SAVE YOUR DATE
Many of our clients come to us via recommendation and already know that they want to work with us. If you are keen to secure your date with us but its too soon for your consultation we offer an option for you to pay your deposit and secure your date leaving you free to meet with us when your planning reaches the appropriate stage without the worry of us becoming booked on your special date . We request £150 non-refundable deposit payable via transfer, PayPal or Cash.
UNABLE TO MEET FACE TO FACE
For our couples that are having a destination wedding or live a long way from our studio we also offer a specialised remote service. The process is very similar to the above but instead of face to face we will liase via email and specially arranged telephone consultations. If you are based in the UK we will send you a sample pack of flavours so that you dont miss out on that all imortant tasting session!
